This is a title sequence for the movie «Louis de Funès» for the television ARTE in France.
We use the silhouette of Louis de Funès to present him in order to not see him directly before the theater scene. We take some scenes of his movies to put in our title sequence.
Beginning from a day in the morning, then he takes his breakfast, going out and meeting his friend on the street. Finally he goes into the theater and the movie begins.
We use the stop motion and some sound effects of Louis de Funès to illustrate this title sequence.

Credits
I created this work with Pierre-Édouard JACQUET and Laure MARCHADIER in 2013 at Gobelins, a school of image design in Paris. We created all the decorations and the typography in Photoshop and Illustrator, then we shot the images with a Canon 5D. Finally we finished the animation in After Effects.
